Bib numbers and timing chip must be picked up at the Expo. You can choose race day bib pick up for an additional fee (see REGISTER page for more details). Picture ID must be presented to receive your number. You may have someone else pickup your number, but they must have a picture or a photocopy of your picture ID.

You must be able to finish the HALF MARATHON under 3 hours 15 minutes. If you have not reached mile 11 by the 2 hours and 45 minute cutoff time, a courtesy shuttle will take you to the finish line

5:15AM – 6:45AM: Half Marathon Bus Pick up at 11176 Sorrento Valley Rd., San Diego 92121
6:00AM - 6:45AM: 5K Bus Pick up at 11176 Sorrento Valley Rd., San Diego 92121
5:30AM - 7:15AM: Bib pick up: ONLY FOR THOSE WHO CHOSE THIS OPTION.
7:30AM: HALF MARATHON STARTING LINE: 14455 Penasquitos Dr, San Diego, CA 92129
7:30AM: 5K STARTING LINE: Carmel Creek Rd /Tang Dr on the 56 Bike Path
9AM – 11:30AM: Entertainment & Awards at the finish area
9AM – 12:15PM: Post-race bus (HALF MARATHON ONLY) transportation from the finish line 11176 Sorrento Valley Rd., San Diego 92121 back to Rancho Penasquitos start line.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

NO BIB MAILING OPTION. Race day bib pick up available for an additional fee when you register.

You must be able to finish the half marathon under 3 hours 15 minutes. For your convenience, transport vehicles will be used to get you to the finish line in the event you are not able to complete the race as planned.

Strollers are not permitted on the course

You are allowed to wear headphones and listen to your own music on the course. It is recommended that if you do wear headphones that you can hear people and traffic around you.

Bus transportation to the start either pre or post race. (Bus transportation pre-race begins at 5:30am – 6:45am. Half Marathon Bus transportation post race 9:00 am – 12:15pm)

Cancellation Policy

Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. Sorry, no exceptions. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate or if the race has been changed or canceled. In the event of race cancellation or changes, your registration is valid to transfer for no additional fee. Deferrals are allowed for a $35 fee. You can select to defer through your run sign up profile.
